About Minomatic

Here's some information about our little band we have going on here. We have been playing together since april 2003. We don't like to hurry things. We do like things like Soda P, We Vs. Death, Mono, Feverdream, SincaBeza, Ponycamp, Quarles van Ufford, and we grew up on Squarepusher, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, and Soda P. We don't sound like any of those at all, though.

We play compositions, carefully strung together to avoid using boring stuff like intro's, chorusses, refrains and bridges. We only play bridges, and lots. We like to end with an intro. We guess you could say we play some sort of jazzy math-rocky post rock, with soft and loud. At least, those are the roads we seem to have taken by now.

But most of all, we try our best, except for Derk, who's taking it sitting down. We're not the kind to produce lots of demo's or play at lots of festivals, you know, that kind of stuff. We play with conviction and growing skill, and who knows, something will emerge.
